I’m not as deep in this as Waj is, but I pay attention, and the uptick has been consistent but is quite recently full hoods off. There is no shame attached to it any longer, and it is exactly what it looks like.

The first strike was also murder. You can’t just up and kill civilians on the high seas and then claim you were at war with them.

I made the terrifying trek with friends to HIV testing clinics because they were afraid to go alone and find out that they were maybe dying
We went with our friends and held their hands while they got checked for death in their blood because of worries about sex/an infusion/an unsafe needle

People are organically shifting to taking care of one another and beginning to rediscover interconnectedness. There’s something growing and it doesn’t matter that it isn’t being harnessed by a political party. At some point it will shift the balance of power.
