I like how YouTube is now interrupting programs with advertising. No it’s not cutting away. It keeps the program running. You just can’t hear it because the ad is running over it and if you want to hear what the program said you’ll have to rewind and go back and probably trigger another ad.

The election of Donald Trump in 2024 was a Black Hole moment, passing through the event horizon of our frail democracy. We keep hoping and praying we can somehow find a way back through some resistance untried. But nothing can escape and we spiral inexorably to the singularity of our certain doom.

I was drinking a cup of coffee today when I realized there were around 100,000 neutrinos inside my coffee at any time. They’re just zipping around in and out my coffee, through my body, never stopping for a moment to introduce themselves or say hi. Such unfriendly, weekly interacting things.

Miami in or this is a joke. The debate is between ND and Alabama. ND should get the final spot because they look more impressive. Alabama has three losses a terrible loss to FSU and the SEC championship was not even close. Alabama is not worthy. Choked their season away with home Oklahoma loss.
