This might seem like a confession on Trump's part, but it's even worse than that. Hogs don't comprehend "fascist" or "nazi" as a distinct ideology with definable characteristics that they exhibit. They're just mean words to say about politicians you disagree with, so it's water under the bridge.

Sometimes I forget that normies don’t understand the “possible permanent decline” part. Yes, getting sick after basic tasks is terrible enough. But we want to LIVE. If we could assuredly recover we’d do ALL THE THINGS, get sick, recover & repeat. That alone would be life-changing. #MECFS #LongCovid

i genuinely believe the modern phenomenon of us believing it is our right to be able to avoid all discomfort (stemming from a recent broadening of the capacity to avoid much of it) is at the heart of a lot of really strange and often bad dynamics. it's very tied into control, and our lack of it imo
I kind of want to write about the power of feeling uncomfortable which is something people really like to avoid, but can be quite transformative.
