"If the U.S. military operation is not an armed conflict of any kind, these orders to kill helpless civilians clinging to the wreckage of a vessel our military destroyed would subject everyone from SECDEF down to the individual who pulled the trigger to prosecution under U.S. law for murder."
Here are US military lawyers stating clearly that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's "kill everybody" orders are either (1) war crimes or (2) murder.

Either way, expect prosecutions in the future.

The White House’s new anti-media website includes denunciations of:

-ABC, which bribed the president
-CBS, which bribed the president and moved away from fact-based journalism trying to appeal to him and his fans
-WaPo, which spiked a Harris endorsement and tilts coverage in Trump’s favor

Fools.

Blue26.org IS NOT A PAC. In fact, it's not an organization or legal entity of any sort. It's literally just a website with a bunch of links to ActBlue pages with slates of Dem candidates.

The sole purpose of it is to make it easy to donate to a bunch of Dems at once. That's it.
Blue26.org
Not a PAC. Just helping raise money for Democratic candidates to help save democracy.

Absolutely worth reading this whole thread.
📣 Caveat: This is not an endorsement of Sen. McMorrow; I'm a big fan of both her as well as Rep. Stevens.

Having said that, as someone who has personally raised over $21 million for hundreds of Democrats via *small individual* donors over the past few cycles, I want to underscore her point here: 1/
I’m not accepting a dime of corporate PAC money.

Why?

We need to rebuild trust in our politics. And the people you serve shouldn’t wonder who you really work for.

Can LLMs with reasoning + web search reliably fact-check political claims?

We evaluated 15 models from OpenAI, Google, Meta, and DeepSeek on 6,000+ PolitiFact claims (2007–2024).

Short answer: Not reliably—unless you give them curated evidence.

As his approval sinks, Trump will turn to the emotion from which his power derives: fear.

Fear closes us off from each other, weakens what is our strength, deprives us of our future and only serves to secure his.

The antidote is hope. An autocrat cannot defeat a hopeful people. Hold fast to it.

The numbers in here are hilarious.

Do you use AI on the job?
Execs: 87%
Managers: 57%
Workers: 27%

Planned investment by 2030: $5T
"Necessary" annual revenue to justify that spend: $650B
Current annual revenue: $50B
Three years into the generative-AI wave, demand for the technology seems surprisingly flimsy
Investors expect AI use to soar. That’s not happening
Recent surveys point to flatlining business adoption

There are specific reasons Trumpists want war on Venezuela, but there‘s a generic one: they crave power to make war on anyone, any time, for completely fabricated reasons, and then to use the guise of war to increase violence and repression everywhere, including home.

They are lawless bestial scum.
