Just left an ICE Protest in Portland OR that started at City Hall and marched to the ICE building. Main demand was "revoke" the lease that lets the agency use their building.
Crowd was 500-1000. They gassed massively after about an hour. Had to pull a lot of 16-17 year old girls out of the gas.

I was literally telling a coworker an hour ago that I think this is what they're doing in the WH and I felt like a tin foil hatter the whole time. Nice to know it isn't just me. Like, I know he's an idiot, but they absolutely *have* to be feeding him AI generated "evidence" constantly, right??

I had a popular account with a valuable audience and my Twitter payout was $80 a month-ish, to the point where I disabled monetization instead of uploading my ID. Payouts are only material if you live in a developing country, so “guy in Nigeria posting right-wing Amerislop” has taken over the site.
Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.
My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.
