Wasn’t expecting Clint Conner to be the one writing the Strib editorial calling for MPD to arrest ICE but here we are. Preach.

My group was able to recover a spent canister from a green smoke grenade in Minneapolis. We now confirm with physical evidence that it was a green signaling grenade.

Please don't spread rumors about hexachloroethane or nerve agents.

This video filmed by Ben Luhmann shows the moment a federal agent sprayed chemical irritants directly into a man's face in south Minneapolis.

Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.

They clearly believed that Minneapolis would riot after they killed one of us. We didn’t, we organized. We followed them, we monitored them. We alerted our neighbors. We fought them in the courts. And now they’re desperate, so they’re brutalizing us, without a hint of legitimate government purpose.

At around 1:40 this afternoon, I witnessed federal agents with ICE and CBP arresting a US citizen after hitting her car from behind, and then kneeling on the head of a legal observer in the snow, preventing breathing and bloodying their face.

Dear neighbor,

We are seeing an increase in immigration enforcement and federal agents across South Minneapolis. This includes the sighting of Bovino at 34th and Cedar. There’s definitely an uptick compared to the last few days. 1/

This is what parents of schools in Minnesota are dealing with. Not just needing to be outside in subzero temps protecting their children from armed, masked federal goons, but now having to worry about undercover agents trying to infiltrate their patrols to kidnap children, parents, and teachers.
From a highly reliable friend:
ICE may be dressing in plain clothes to get access to students at schools, and get information about how the resistance is organizing. Be careful who you talk to. Don't engage with strangers with many questions. Vet folks you let into your organizing circles.

A THREAD. Which I have decided to call 'Reasons Why Owls Are Excellent'.

1. They are always putting the needs of others before their own.
Almost certainly the best thing I was ever told about owls was when I met an owl handler at an owl sanctuary and he told me that the wild owls who lived near the sanctuary worried about the tame show owls there and sometimes stopped by to leave them shrews and mice as presents.

A small thing with everything going on but, if you have yelp or Google or whatever accounts, check the reviews of local places taking a stand.

Fake reviews starting to appear from assholes that don't even go here.

Report them and leave your own review if you've enjoyed that business.
