Allegedly a lawyer. 17 years as a public defender now trying harm reduction as the man. Lives in Oregon in a reaaaaaaaalllly small town. Champion cherry pit spitter.
Hear me out though! I think "don't take your shoes off and put them on the chair in front of you" is the first thing he's said that I agree with. So there's that.
"It honors our country."

Yeah, the thing that's going to bring America back to its glory days is me showing up for my Frontier Airlines flight in a tux.
Duffy on his demand that air travelers not wear slippers or pajamas: "It honors our country ... don't take your shoes off and put your feet on the chair ahead of you"

I feel like a lot of countries are doing this and I don't think it's good for us.

I don't know about this phrasing sometimes. If the evidence isn't credible, then it's not evidence. So the statement should be there is no evidence. Period.
There is no credible evidence linking vaccines to autism.

This dangerous change to CDC guidance could lead to countless preventable deaths — especially among kids.

I think this is the first change to Twitter policies or rules that I have liked in YEARS. I'm not on twitter anymore, but I wonder how many people are realizing their opinions were shaped by Russian bots now?
X has changed their policy and now you can see where the accounts are based.

I think the funniest thing would be is if we saw 80's level of boycott and spectacular failure of tourism for this

For real! Deporting people who represented and defended this country with explicit promises of fast tracked citizen is bullshit.
They defended this country. They raised their hand and they swore to uphold the Constitution, and then they come home and we say, ‘Oh, thanks for your service, get out.’ It’s wrong.”

Yes, no man has ever admired me for my degree. Except that majority of the men I speak to on a daily basis are speaking to me to ask me advice pertaining to...... my degree.

I'm not a big conspiracy person, but what they are doing to Boebert would convince a NON-paranoid person to become paranoid!

Jesus guys. I'm glad they are bad at this.
They are looking more and more guilty and more desperate by the second

So true! The worst people "well, actually" me on the difference between pedophilia and ephebiphilia and/or hebophilia! Like look, it really doesn't make a difference for most discussions unless you're being very academic!
Right now, Karoline Leavitt is being coached on how to say “ephebophilia” in the least creepy way possible.

The attorney general and the FBI director, a manosphere podcaster bro, pulled into the situation room a member of Congress best known for getting kicked out of a Beetlejuice musical for drunkenly giving her date a handy, in order to pressure her about the president's child sex trafficking scandal.

Did I tell you all the time when the lead singer of radio head nailed my in MY head with a shoe?

No? We, have a great veterans day. I'm not but all the males in my family are. Much love and happiness.

I haven't had that happen here, but in a county that basically never had people falsely posing as cops, we've had people falsely posing as cops this last year (still just two, but that's up from zero!). Anyway, one was a registered sex offender taking to a 12 and a 13 to girls.
This really hasn’t gotten enough attention this week.

Yeah. This is crazy. But it's literally what happens with publicly owned jails and prisons too. Don't you ever forget that
This is insane!!!

Private prison companies have documented cases of suing states for failing to meet their contractually guaranteed minimum bed occupancy quotas (often 80–100% full), or else the state must pay for the empty beds.

When conservatives try to convince me the Democratic party is dying because we're too liberal - this is what they're missing. That people are getting fed up with the Amy Schumer's and the Debra whatever her name is trying to tell us to MODERATE. We don't want to! And it's working!!!
The entire right-wing propaganda machine came after Zohran Mamdani.

The president and his allies came after him.

Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute.

He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.

His politics can win anywhere.

There was an active federal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators all the way until September, 2025 — and then it abruptly stopped.

Why did the DOJ spend years building it, only to have it suddenly transferred to DOJ headquarters and halted?

Okay. Hear me out here. I have no personal knowledge of Kavanaugh - but that is seriously the behavior of a lawyer that is hung the fuck over. Or still drunk from the night before. Seriously.
Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during today's second oral arguments has been incredibly obnoxious and rude. He is so eager to kill a service member's lawsuit against a negligent government contractor that he keeps interrupting other justices, raising his voice, and getting emotional. Weird and erratic.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
