We need some reporting on this because obviously one failing old man didn't do this and it's obviously an attempt to make him look less like an old failing man. But it's also a propaganda effort unlike anything we've ever seen from a president.
“Trump wrote or shared more than 150 posts on his Truth Social platform between 9 p.m. and midnight. Many of them were unremarkable… but others were bananas – outlandish conspiratorial tales the president shared with his 11-plus million followers even though they were detached from reality.”

President Donald Trump promoted a bunch of unfounded conspiracy theories during a late-night social media posting spree on Monday.

This man may be the most racist president this country has ever had, and twelve presidents owned slaves

Yup.
Even if the original strike was legal (it wasnt) saying people clinging to a shipwreck are still trying to complete a drug run is absurd.
A top admiral is expected to tell lawmakers tomorrow that he and his legal adviser concluded that the two survivors of a boat strike in September were attempting to continue their drug run, making them and the damaged vessel legitimate targets for another attack.

Not surprising Rand Paul shows some mettle for what he really thinks, in this case on the right side of morality and law.
Sens. Tim Kaine, Rand Paul, Chuck Schumer, and Adam Schiff have filed a War Powers Resolution to block the use of the U.S. Armed Forces to engage in hostilities within or against Venezuela unless authorized by Congress.

Good for the Admiral, putting integrity in front.
Turns out Hegseth forced Adm Holsey out of his command because, at least in part, of friction over the so-called “drug boat” strike campaign.

This is the head of the company that CNN just partnered with, insisting that prediction markets are a great way to cut through the noise and determine what’s true and what isn’t.

No, really, listen to him. It’s actually that stupid.

Yesterday the President fell asleep, yet again, during a televised fake Cabinet meeting staged so that each of his courtiers could heap praise on him, praise for which he couldn't stay conscious. He woke up just long enough to spew racism. Why is this not being treated as an emergency? >

One reason: In mainstream political journalism, your bosses reward you for coming off as dry, unsurprisable, immune to alarm. "Everybody needs to calm down" is a signal to them that you are not volatile, and thus not prone to bad judgment. This is exactly what should not be rewarded right now. >

Yes, if you're always hysterical, if you have one glib answer for everything ("He has dementia," "He's a Russian asset," etc), you'll sound silly and people will stop listening. But looking at 2015-25, the "This is REALLY BAD" journos were right 90% of the time. The "calm down" crew? Mostly wrong.

After spending his term pardoning corrupt conservative Republicans, Donald Trump has pardoned a corrupt conservative Democrat. Where was this bipartisanship from Obama and Biden?

In this Ohio diner, double tap still means a bar with both Miller Lite and Coors Light. But they do know this: Pete Hegseth ordering the Navy to fire on shipwrecked survivors is better than dudes in dresses holding DEI trainings, which is all the military did under Biden.

Yes, this is worth listening to.

In my very long memory of public affairs, have never heard a public statement by a "president" (a) more alarming in mental health terms, and also (b) more overtly racist and hate-filled.

Watch carefully the sycophants around Trump as he rants. They *all* know...
I hope people take two minutes to listen to this shocking display of bigotry. It brings clarity to what we are fighting against. We should all be sick to hear such un-American drivel from the President of the United States.
