It’s wild that you can just openly bribe the President of the United States with chunks of gold to get
whatever you want, it’s fine, you don’t have to hide it, just say “I am bribing the President with gold,” zero consequences.

“Weaponizing the DOJ” takes on a whole new level when you order investigations in order to reopen it so it’s no longer closed and you can claim you can’t release information because it’s an “ongoing investigation”

If she genuinely becomes an anti-Trump (and I still think that is a big if), im not sure why we should reject that. I'm not saying that means we vote for her but if you're fighting authoritarianism, you can't necessarily be choosy about allies.
MTG on her apology tour that too many Libs will buy without question

Like has Trump even attempted to give a reason why not? We know why he opposes it but usually there is some level of making up a reason.
After Trump said only "stupid" or "foolish" Republicans are pushing to release the Epstein files, MTG responded and said the release is long overdue

A redditor argument from 20 years ago to defend lolicon is now a mainstream Republican talking point
Dershowitz: The predecessor on your show described Epstein as a convicted pedophile. He pleaded guilty to one count of having sex for money with a 17-year-and-10-month-old person. That’s not a pedophile.

Greene has a long way to go to get any sort of trust from anyone bit I suppose one has to start somewhere
I don't feel inclined to give MTG a lot of credit, but I didn't feel inclined to give Bill Kristol a lot of credit a couple of years ago and he's full on resist lib now and there is a lot of anecdotal evidence over the years that when a true believer breaks on one thing - and MTG has always been

First, how can you not know what they scanned.

Second, if you dont know what they analyzed, how can you say its fine?

Somehow I dont think this works if they teach conservative dogma
This was always where the right's "viewpoint diversity" schtick was going. A U.S. Senator said that the professor must be removed from teaching the graduate-level course because "one student in the classroom was uncomfortable." Love that viewpoint diversity. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/13/u...

I remember when people said Trump was the anti-war candidate
So this is how it begins.

This is how serious the Epstein emails are.

Looks like we’re going to war with Venezuela to distract from Trump's child rape with Epstein.

Deportations actually _increase_ housing prices because they shrink the construction industry.

The reduction in new houses being built swamps effects from lower demand

It's so blatant that I'm starting to wonder if the NYT is run by a pack of pedophiles
Starting to see a pattern here with how the New York Times covers pedophiles

I see the “technically it’s ephebophelia” crowd is out today, so just a reminder that A) this is NOT a case where technically correct is the best kind of correct and B) the minute you say this, the gods dump you in the “irredeemable creeper” basket and wash their hands thoroughly after touching you.

Everyone knows who holds the power in a relationship between a homeless teen and a US congressman, and its definitely not the congressman!

"Why does no one trust media anymore?"

I dont know. Maybe because you're publishing stories framed as "why are these underage girls having sex with and ruining the lives of all of these powerful men?"
November 14, 2025 at 1:07 AM
So when can we burn down the NYT?

One of the reasons people--myself included--are upset is the lack of transparency from the Times about this entire situation when they've gone on endless crusades against transgender people on flimsy evidence or ideological whim; we can also talk about the Mamdani/Columbia thing or Claudine Gay.
"I'm a rando who prefers to believe that everything is a conspiracy and am happy to tell women that I know better than she does how their literal job works" That a news org makes an editorial decision you wouldn't (or I wouldn't) doesn't mean someone is killing a story on behalf of a powerful person
"I write for the New York Times, and I can assure you that we've never buried stories on behalf of powerful people, many of those powerful people being part of NYT management. We only publish what's fit to print, like Zohran's application to Columbia that was leaked by a white nationalist"

Why the fuck is this framed as “teenager chose to prostitute herself and ruined the career of innocent congressman”
A teenager in Florida with a homeless parent wanted money for braces and ended up having sex for money with powerful men, setting off a chain of events that would have a dramatic impact on her life and help upend the political career of Representative Matt Gaetz. nyti.ms/49PSkL9

Republicans really doing the "technically its ephebophilia" thing huh
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."
November 14, 2025 at 12:54 AM
If white people have as many kids as they'd like, that is also going to increase the population, thus demand, so what's the difference. Oh, and those immigrants help build new houses, increasing supply as well.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."
