This is fucking mental but also going to backfire in the funniest way when other players use the "Ronaldo" loophole to appeal their red cards.

Actually leaving themselves open to legal action with this.

Parking the explicit racism that the government is pushing. It's worth pointing out that young Brits are increasingly leaving the U.K. or considering doing so.

So they are manufacturing a situation where young Brits leave the country at the same time that no one else bothers wants to migrate here.
Mahmood/government should say explain *objective* of increasing time to settlement for 15 years for care workers who arrived 2022-24

Is it

A) to get them to leave? Why?
B) to save money? Then why not just restrict benefits?
C) to "encourage integration"? How? Will do opposite.
15 years for people in medium skilled jobs and care workers too. I believe this goes down to 10 years if they earn over £50,270. Someone in a high skilled job earning over that qualifies in 5 years.

In 2023 Ayesha Hazarika said it was ridiculous the Cheltenham Racing Festival took place in March 2020

But at the very time Cheltenham was taking place in March 2020 Hazarika sneered at those who were demanding more scrutiny of the decisions the govt was taking on Covid

Once again, we are way too relaxed about the fact that "shooting Irish people is good actually" is a mainstream political position on the neighbouring island.

As someone who literally worked for the party on payroll for nearly 5 odd years, not only am I never voting for it again but I'm having to do very very little to convince others not to as well... they are doing that all their own.
These are the voters that Labour strategists have made very clear over a long period of time that they don't want any more, and it's a message that has now been heard
I've been out canvassing quite a lot in London lately. Labour's vote has absolutely evaporated.... it is quite extraordinary to go to places where Labour were on 50-60% of the vote at the last locals and find nobody, or virtually nobody, supporting them.

The phrase 'I voted Labour last time, but...

In all seriousness taking out the cocaine trade is actually a really good way to get a lot of powerful and wealthy people to despise him enough to remove him from office.

I'm telling you the financial sector fund managers etc would go off!
Trump: “Colombia has cocaine factories where they make cocaine.

“Would I knock out those factories? I would be proud to do it, personally.

“I didn't say I'm doing it, but I would be proud to do it.”

What country would want to be a neighbour of the US right now?

I always think it's worth pointing out that all of this is happening because Shabana and her wing of the Party didn't like John and Jeremy being in charge for factional reasons and decided to burn the whole of the Party to the ground instead of not being in charge.
Shabana Mahmood asked by Labour MP John McDonnell to "give me the assurance that no child will be placed in detention as a result of this policy"

Mahmood does not give him that assurance

Resign from the Party Nadia, anyone who claims to be on the left continuing to be members of this scumbag party are just as bad.

It can not be saved or fixed, it is dead.
So the solution is… to join in?

I'm afraid the “dark forces” are calling from inside the house at this point.

However it would be objectively quite funny if Reform move slightly to the left on this and outflank them
Labour are now the "darker forces" Mahmood is scaremongering about. Depriving people who have fled unimaginable horror the ability to rebuild their lives in safety and security, which this does, is sickening. Labour is sickening.

Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

You can voluntarily pay more tax in the U.K.... HMRC would be more than happy to help you with this Sean.
I’m not saying I won’t moan about it when the time comes to pay, but I think the Govt should raise my income tax because I am profoundly worried about the state of public services.

I think Wes of all people should know that Cartels aren't democratic organisations that poll their members on what their next course of action is.

I mean given rumoured past times that is.
'Don't tell me you don't want to be out on strike - because that is exactly where you are. Own it.'

As resident doctors walk out again, Wes Streeting calls out the 'reprehensible and cartel-like behaviour' of their union.
November 14, 2025 at 1:50 PM
Saw Mr Streeting was making friends and influencing people on LBC by basically telling a NHS doctor and Union to fuck themselves 👌🏻 tremendous stuff.

You keep attacking NHS staff Wes, that's a sure fire way to make people like you.

All landlords are parasites, there is no such thing as a "fair" one... you are welcome.
Not fair to brand all landlords as 'parasites'. I'm a fair landlord (keep my rents low and my properties in good condition) in an area that is short on affordable properties. I've no quarrel with bad landlords being outed but this type of generalisation is unfair.

Amazing frontage, I'd say about 60-70% of the reason Labour is in the mess it is in is because they hired and followed this persons strategy and forced those of us who said it was lunacy out of employment.

Just outstanding levels of delusion.

Yeah the banking sector will have an almighty tantrum and this will get quietly dropped.

Although I'd be interested to know what powers OFCOM are using to monitor U.K. citizens use of privacy software.
The British government admits it is now monitoring VPNs use by UK residents. Regulator Ofcom has contracted with an AI-powered surveillance service to detect the number of citizens using VPNs to evade the Online Safety Act.

The UK tech minister has said a VPN ban is on the table.
