As someone who's grown up Irish in London, the idea of trial without jury given the states historic view and behaviour towards us (as well as every other minority) is honestly terrifying.

As someone who was Party staff during this period, I can assure you there was a lot of staff (people I could explicitly name but won't due to how pathetically litigious they all are) working endlessly to undermine and destroy any single solitary chance of success.
