This of course has nothing to do with the fact that if Wes run in a 2 horse race he'd somehow finish 3rd within the membership vote.

As someone who was Party staff during this period, I can assure you there was a lot of staff (people I could explicitly name but won't due to how pathetically litigious they all are) working endlessly to undermine and destroy any single solitary chance of success.

Geezer just answers whatever question he has in his head from his staff's readout, regardless of what the question actually is.

Parking the explicit racism that the government is pushing. It's worth pointing out that young Brits are increasingly leaving the U.K. or considering doing so.

So they are manufacturing a situation where young Brits leave the country at the same time that no one else bothers wants to migrate here.
Mahmood/government should say explain *objective* of increasing time to settlement for 15 years for care workers who arrived 2022-24

Is it

A) to get them to leave? Why?
B) to save money? Then why not just restrict benefits?
C) to "encourage integration"? How? Will do opposite.
15 years for people in medium skilled jobs and care workers too. I believe this goes down to 10 years if they earn over Β£50,270. Someone in a high skilled job earning over that qualifies in 5 years.

Yeah it's weird how they are all pretending to notice instead of just continuing to quietly be ok with it though. That's novel.

In 2023 Ayesha Hazarika said it was ridiculous the Cheltenham Racing Festival took place in March 2020

But at the very time Cheltenham was taking place in March 2020 Hazarika sneered at those who were demanding more scrutiny of the decisions the govt was taking on Covid

Oh yes the Swedish example which basically caused a diplomatic emergency with all their Nordic neighbours who were effectively screaming at them to stop being so fucking stupid.

Once again, we are way too relaxed about the fact that "shooting Irish people is good actually" is a mainstream political position on the neighbouring island.

As someone who literally worked for the party on payroll for nearly 5 odd years, not only am I never voting for it again but I'm having to do very very little to convince others not to as well... they are doing that all their own.
These are the voters that Labour strategists have made very clear over a long period of time that they don't want any more, and it's a message that has now been heard
I've been out canvassing quite a lot in London lately. Labour's vote has absolutely evaporated.... it is quite extraordinary to go to places where Labour were on 50-60% of the vote at the last locals and find nobody, or virtually nobody, supporting them.

The phrase 'I voted Labour last time, but...

In all seriousness taking out the cocaine trade is actually a really good way to get a lot of powerful and wealthy people to despise him enough to remove him from office.

I'm telling you the financial sector fund managers etc would go off!
Trump: β€œColombia has cocaine factories where they make cocaine.

β€œWould I knock out those factories? I would be proud to do it, personally.

β€œI didn't say I'm doing it, but I would be proud to do it.”

What country would want to be a neighbour of the US right now?

Now they are in charge and doing everything they can to prove they are not like John and Jeremy in every possible way. That's it, that's the whole thing, they don't actually have any personal beliefs or opinions just whatever they think will get the daily mail to like them.
November 17, 2025 at 8:27 PM
I always think it's worth pointing out that all of this is happening because Shabana and her wing of the Party didn't like John and Jeremy being in charge for factional reasons and decided to burn the whole of the Party to the ground instead of not being in charge.
Shabana Mahmood asked by Labour MP John McDonnell to "give me the assurance that no child will be placed in detention as a result of this policy"

Mahmood does not give him that assurance

Reform / Tories will propose amendments to make it even more evil then they'll have to try explain why they oppose being even more evil until they inevitably decide to try and out evil those amendments.
