I am British and grumpy. Tories, Brexit and most other things make me grumpy. I am a ridiculous blue rectangle in a silly green hat and I demand that you take me seriously!

Born 1970s. Unable to age verify.

I should have a pinned skeet so that people will take me seriously. That's how this works, right?
How can I put this delicately? The Daily Telegraph can fuck right off with this desperate nonsense. I mean, they might as well just start banging on about Lord Lucan again at this point for all the relevance this has to anything going on on planet Earth in 2025.

Speaking as somebody who got pised off at Wikipedia for a very bad decision it made recently, this helps put things into perspective. What they did was still wrong, and a few good people were treated unfairly, but Wikipedia still matters.

Remember the recent middle-of-the-night apartment building raid where children were dragged outside naked & zip-tied in the street while black & Latino residents were _sorted by race_ and piled into separate vans while their apartments were ransacked & robbed? That raid? So it resulted in 0 arrests.

I love it when old conservatives say "you don't understand the way the world works" because the problem is that we do understand and think it should work differently

Hank is right about all of this but particularly that we make a mistake if we assume that everybody agrees that racism is axiomatically bad hence we don't need to explain *why* racism is bad.

I represent dozens (yes, dozens) of people raped by guards in the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

It sure would be nice if DOJ gave a tenth as much of a shit when it comes to compensating them.
NEW: DOJ has been in settlement talks with Michael Flynn -- Trump's first national security adviser seeking $50M for his prosecution by ex-special counsel Robert Mueller -- and Stefan Passantino, a Trump I White House lawyer who accused the House Jan. 6 committee of privacy violations

OK... How?

Is the US Government suing the BBC in Florida, which is clearly not where any of this happened? Or is Trump suing personally, in Florida?

How is any of this alleged to work?
