My best trip to ALDI yet. I was gifted a free cart by a friendly shopper. Now I have a second ALDI quarter! Stocked up on the essentials like chicken thighs ($1.55 per pound), salad kits, and plenty of dark chocolate. Total receipt was $123.46. Whole milk had gone up from $2.16 to $2.95 per gallon!

We should develop and fund a plan to reconstruct this predictably dangerous street with traffic calming measures, maybe throw in a nicer bike trail while we’re at it.
"Preliminary information indicates the pedestrians were in the crosswalk and had the right of way when crossing Summit Avenue," police wrote in a statement Monday afternoon.

There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

Tonight, I made dinner with my friend. I harvested from the garden, washed and chopped fresh kale, green onions, and cilantro. Then we were cooking away for two hours. At three hours in, she asked me to take a picture of the bounty. Then I think she saw the photo on her phone, and then... Instagram!

This is a Costco recipe
Glossed with a tangy blend of honey and lemon, this salmon caramelizes around the edges while staying juicy and tender. Dill, lots of it, brings freshness, green as cut grass. nyti.ms/4phCbTl

I could not pass Calculus 3 in a career (economics) that really doesn’t use calculus for everyday purposes because most of the calculus theoretical work is bullshit.

I custom coded a new web font for just these icons that is burned into the CSS of my website. This bespoke approach allows me to pull up the icons without having to go to a third-party server. I am very happy with the results! It only makes a marginal difference, but it was a nice little project.
