NEW: Minnesota's top federal judge says ICE has been violating court orders repeatedly — detaining noncitizens or rushing them to Texas despite judges' commands.

He wants ICE's director to answer for it "personally," and could level contempt sanctions.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

🇬🇧UK loses measles-free status

This is NOT about the loss of *status*, this is about a very real increase in risk to unvaccinated children and adults.

The other losers are (as always) immunocompromised and otherwise Clinically Vulnerable people.

The problem with symbolic compliance isn’t just that they fall short of ending violence.

It’s also that people duped by the symbols will switch sides to defend the oppressor, emboldening them to become more violent and violate more civil rights than before.

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

Here's the thing, Greg — free speech is still protected by the First Amendment under the Constitution.

If you want folks to stop saying you're the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people, maybe stop acting like the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people.
Bovino: "When politicians, community leaders, & some journalists engage in that heated rhetoric we keep talking about, when they make the choice to vilify law enforcement calling law enforcement 'Gestapo' or using the term 'kidnapping,' that is a choice & there are actions & consequences."

Here's how to identify some crowd control munitions, canisters of which federal agents have left on the ground after deploying them against people in Minnesota. bit.ly/3YWp1jE

Making sure it's immediately saved to the cloud or even published online instantly is important because these ICE goons can grab your phone and delete your footage to hide their crimes.
At 4K, your images can be zoomed in 4 times or more with no loss of resolution before being posted

This helps viewers see exactly when a gun is removed from an ICE victim's holster before he is then executed, for example

And make sure you're backing up to the cloud so footage is permanently saved

Thanks.

Document reality.

Reality is kryptonite to the fascist illusion of strength & invincibility as they subsist on myth and propaganda.

This is why they target journalists and control media.

Use or lose those First Amendment rights.

It's not just that these professional politics observers somehow failed to spot the obvious rise of American nativist thuggery.

It's how much energy they devoted to arguing the real problem was the volume, tone, and vocabulary of those raising the alarm about it.

We tried to warn everyone who said, "they can't do that, it's against the law."
They don't care about the law.
The law will not protect you from people who don't care about the law.
"But law enforcement!?!" That's THEM. America gave them the sheriff's badge and keys to the jail.
We had to put up with school shootings because "the 2nd Amendment"
But watch ICE eliminate the right to bear arms by executing anyone they find with a gun and to hell with the 2nd Amendment.
ICE will soon be killing citizens in their own homes because they're scared there might be a gun inside.

So Kyle Rittenhouse, who attended a protest armed with a loaded assault rifle and killed 2 people is a right-wing hero.

But Alex Pretti who had a holstered, permitted handgun, was recording ICE, and tried to help a pepper-sprayed woman deserved to die?

No one is buying this BS.
Kash Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law." (Pretti was carrying a gun legally.)

FREY: Everybody listen to that question. The question is 'will this administration abide by a court order.' These are the underpinnings of our democracy and Constitution. The answer better be yes.

I have spent my entire adult life being lectured by Republican politicians and conservative legal movement types about how important it is to preserve the sacred constitutional right to self-defense of *specifically this person* and then secret police murdered him in the street
Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara says that the victim was a 37-year-old white man and US citizen with no criminal record and that he was a legally permitted gun owner.

This is incompetence.

The congressional switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. Put it in your cell phone. Use it. If you're not calling at least once a week, you're not doing your part.
I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity
