it's really cheap and pretty easy to make a website. everyone should have at least one. don't know what you'd do with your website? just look at the ones your friends made until you feel inspired

This is what we have to resort to in the sixth largest city in America because for some reason they can’t just sweep the fucking streets. Remind me again what my city wage tax pays for?
The guys used to sweep the street with janitor brooms, “just so our kids could come out and play without glass around,” Masucci said.

“Neighbors would be like, ‘Oh, it’s nice, but it’s really dusty,’ and I’d be like, ‘God! There’s gotta be a better way,’” he said.

These South Philly dads bought personal street sweepers for their block: ‘It’s like a little Zamboni’
The German device isn't marketed for street cleaning, but when brooms weren't enough to keep their kids safe from broken glass and debris on their block, these three men got ingenious with it.

Nick is leaving the Preston and Steve show. Really feels like Preston and Steve and possibly WMMR are in their waning days.

Cars don't scale. They don't scale with 1 driver and they don't scale with 0 drivers. You simply cannot beat a train in the geometry wars.
Waymo privatized another public street:

Chanel approaching 4th, San Francisco

Possibly queued for a Billie Eilish show at Chase Center ~half mile away.

The light rail train on 4th seen passing in front of this roboherd has more passenger capacity than all of them combined.

Somewhere within the CPSC someone who spends every day wondering if today is the day they find them
There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

I was originally not terribly opposed to this garage. On the map, it’s basically in no-mans land under 95 and I was like great, that’s a good way to keep entertainment district traffic off the residential streets. Now I see in context how close it is to the Filmore and it’s just stupid.
What if we kissed...at the bistro in the base of the new Fishtown parking garage that overlooks a gravel lot?

The seven-story, 372-space garage will head to Civic Design Review on December 2nd. Rooftop commercial space will also be included, with views of Carvana.
