Many, MANY cat photos shall be shared, including foster kittens!
A new Rhenna attempt and the Meret I had forgotten to photograph from before. With heavy photo editing to save me from nasty left-handed skew.

Can’t express enough how messed up my week became just cuz of bad PT luck ending with a bruise atop one of my most spasm-y muscles. It’s near impossible to focus on anything with a glitched autonomic response panicking about injury, as my annoyed rational mind assures my bod it’s a temporary bruise!

Every time I have picked up a pencil to sketch today, a certain someone has immediately ruined it by running into me and yelling for attention.

But if you pick him up and hold him like the baby he is, he cries even more!

Now he’s in my lap, scolding me if my petting isn’t perfect. Cats are jerks.

Once more: I avoid following accounts that would only make me and my fragile body angry, so any dumbass/monster of the day news gets to me via third wave of backlash subposting, and many times I will never learn about the original post/article/news item that caused it.

There is a Disney adult in the replies going insane over this.

…or a troll willing to post 1000 times about loving Iger and the live-action remakes, in a Kaufman-esque long form performance piece.

Art takes many forms!

One day only special: Foster kittens!

My mother will soon be switching out with this pair’s older siblings and mother. The little social sweeties will go on the fast track to adoption. Mom gets the potential tougher cases!

Been struggling with migraines, and I either forgot it was Aimovig refill time or I should accept the flexibility of mental forgiveness with blue lead is countered by how brittle it became as it aged.

All I’ve “finished” is this 2/3 of a Meret and a Rhenna I forgot to photograph. (We’ll see.)

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

No one in human history has ever said, “I want a camel cricket surprise!”

CATS, however, have an alternate opinion.

I see who nature listens to!

My solution for the “male loneliness epidemic” is for all those unlikable bros to read about Nepal v GenZ and have a thought about being jerks in possibly helpful ways for once.

Alternate pic, featuring all three siblings! Dipper’s all, “Huh?!?!?” while Pearl keeps going 😺 and Pirate keeps going 😾.

At one point Pearl was jumping around the support to attack from another side. You can see multiple other conquered shoelace toys at her feet. So greedy…

I was in too much pain for a day like today. Body is handling tension quite poorly and it’s hard to calm when pain causes an automatic fight or flight panic. (Can’t sleep with it active!) I couldn’t even handle watching bad sports teams find new twists on old ways to lose!

Kaine doesn't have a voicemail.
It is MADDENING.

I left a message for Warner, but you can't for Kaine.

You CAN fax him:

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

I’ve said this before but I couldn’t get insurance when I was pregnant due to my pre existing condition…pregnancy.
For anyone too young to remember what it was like before ACA…

IT WAS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE.
One of the most important provisions of the ACA was eliminating pre-existing conditions exclusions from insurance plans.

Folks need to be reminded that if the ACA goes away, so does that provision.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

I called my Dem senator telling her not to cave to republican pressure or chuck schumer’s cowardice. I had to leave a message but I hope you call too instead of waiting, if you have any trans or disabled people in your life.

Fox cramming Trump down our throats as Schumer also attempts to do Trump's bidding really shows the rich asshole contingent has zero respect for election results, and will force their side no matter what. If you can't buy your way to their table, via money or mass murder, you don't deserve to exist.
