I've never seen Stranger Things. I saw the monsters, the kids, heard D&D, & knew it wasn't for me. But, it's really funny to watch fans scream about the terrible acting & writing. Idk any of the plot lines, but I know they're incoherent & incomplete. Shucks.

To clarify: I'm recently (late) diagnosed, but could always feel the difference. I still resent people who used their ignorance to make my life worse. Those who made me feel less than for social problems, minimised my distress, depression, etc. This is about empathising w decent people who've tried.
I fear for the lazy analysis of Shane in Heated Rivalry due to him being 'canonically autistic.' I believe Rachel Reid when she says she'd written him based on loved ones who were later diagnosed. It's genetic, after all. & I adore H. Williams' using his (family's) diagnostic history with autism.

I've finally come around to watching Challengers (2024). I didn't know this was an Amazon MGM production, & I didn't expect there to be so many visible logos. But, those 2 facts make sense together. More comedic than I expected, too. Not funny 30 mins in, but the tone's there.
