MP for Islington North
Today I met Tony, a local postman who's served our community for over five years.

It’s time to bring Royal Mail into public ownership so the service is available to all and everyone gets a Tony of their own!

Over the busy Christmas period, make sure you thank your postie!

As the United States carries out illegal attacks at sea, we must defend international law, speak up for peace, and say without hesitation: no war with Venezuela.

By eroding trial by jury, the government is cementing its legacy as a bulldozer of our human rights.

This is the behaviour of authoritarian regimes!

The right to a jury trial is a fundamental tenet of democracy. We cannot let it be destroyed.

As thousands make their way home from Your Party’s conference, I want to say a huge thank you to all the workers and volunteers — cleaners, caterers, technicians and so many more — who made it possible.

It’s people’s hard work, often unrecognised, that keeps things going!

It’s always been Your Party.

We are doing this so every child has enough to eat, a roof over their head, and a sense of hope that a better future is possible.

We have a precious opportunity to build a mass movement that can transform this country.

Let’s seize it, together.

This is our chance to build a mass, socialist party in Britain that stands up for economic justice, democracy and peace.

My piece for Tribune ahead of Your Party’s founding conference.

Jeremy Corbyn: Our Chance to do Something Special
Ahead of Your Party’s democratic founding conference this weekend, we need to put redistribution, sustainability, and peace at the heart of a mass socialist movement that belongs to the grassroots.

The rich keep getting richer. The poor keep getting poorer.

Nothing will change until we bring about a fundamental redistribution of wealth, ownership and power.
November 26, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Well done to all those who have tirelessly campaigned to scrap the 2-child benefit cap.

Today, the government admitted it had been keeping thousands of children in poverty for no reason whatsoever.

Next, tax wealth, reverse austerity and end the privatisation rip-off!

Why does this government find it so hard to tell Israel: you’re wrong, what you’re doing is illegal, and we are not going to let you get away with genocide.
November 26, 2025 at 10:44 AM
Trial by jury is a cornerstone of our democracy and an essential safeguard against authoritarianism.

It is truly frightening that such a fundamental freedom is now under attack.

Once rights are lost, they are not easy to win back. We must resist this with all we’ve got.

Austerity 2.0. Attacks on disabled people. Arming genocide.

The Labour Party has turned a fundamental corner — and I don’t see it coming back.

We will never forget the role this government played in the genocide in Gaza.

Your Party will be a voice for democracy, economic redistribution and peace.

Two children have been killed every day in Gaza since the so-called ceasefire began.

Why has this disappeared from the headlines?

The genocide never ended — and our government is still complicit.

End all arms sales to Israel, now.

We need solutions, not scapegoats.

Stop attacking asylum seekers and tax the rich instead!

On Trans Day of Remembrance, we mourn those who have lost their lives to transphobic violence, hatred and discrimination.

Trans rights are human rights.

Today, let us commit to building a kinder society where everyone can live in peace, dignity and freedom.

My constituent is one of six political prisoners on hunger strike, demanding the right to a fair trial and the de-proscription of Palestine Action.

I have written to David Lammy to demand urgent action.

The government knows the truth: the weight of history is against them.

History will judge this government very harshly for its cruel and inhumane treatment of asylum seekers.
November 18, 2025 at 10:25 AM
Removing asylum support. Seizing belongings. Deporting entire families, including children.

Labour are not just paving the path to a Reform government. Reform may as well already be in power.

This government has no moral compass — and it should be ashamed of its inhumanity.

Wes Streeting says striking NHS staff are “holding patients to ransom”.

Wrong! He’s the one holding patients and the NHS to ransom, by refusing to give doctors the pay and jobs they deserve.

To all our dedicated healthcare workers: thank you for all you do. Solidarity!

Labour won't redistribute wealth from billionaires.

But they will seize belongings from those fleeing war and persecution.

Absolutely disgusting. Asylum seekers are human beings — and they deserve to live in dignity just like anybody else.
