France and the US have never been at war. Probably the only two "major" Western countries who never did.
Well, that's about to change because the US is run by a psycho and American people are cowards.
French soldiers are now preparing to defend Greenland from invasion by the United States. What insanity we're living in that the US is gearing up to launch WW3 against its own allies...

One good method is to quit Gmail in favour of smaller, independently run email clients
Is there a way to remove the new AI summaries from the top of gmail? I would rather read the email to get the details. I try searching for this and I get alot of AI "answers" that don't answer my question. Mostly they tell me how to get said summary.

Des saloperies venant de l'oligarchie, j'en ai entendues, mais celle-là est forte quand même.

After seeing the US invade Venezuela, I knew I had to take an episode to break down why digital sovereignty is even more essential.

But also how working to get off US tech myself has led me to question whether I really need all this tech in the first place.
Tech Won’t Save Us is back from a holiday break — and that means it’s time to set the stage for the year ahead!

This week @parismarx.com lays out his big focuses for this year: digital sovereignty and rethinking the tech we personally depend on.

Oh fuck... The weirder it gets the more likely it sounds it will happen.

And the craziest part is that some years ago, I imagined something similar (except in Alaska and Kamchatka) in a sci-fi story I started but never finished.

For non-German speakers:

“Dear media, I can’t stand the headline "No agreement between the US and Denmark” any longer. If an armed man storms a bank, you don't run the headline: "Robber and cashier can't reach an agreement on money transfer." Stop framing imperial aggression as normal diplomacy.”

On the one hand, the chance that Trumps kicks the bucket before 2028 is not small.
On the other hand, I think I fear a Vance US presidency even more. The guy is truly like a little rabid raccoon and he truly hates Europe.
