House RepubliCANT'S on the rules committee vote to Block release of the Epstein files. 1 Republican voted w/ Democrats to release them. 1 Republican (Chip Roy) skipped the vote. Every Democrat voted to release them. What does this say about the Republican party & their desire to protect children?

On the one hand, this is yet another horrific development.

On the other hand, fuck you Tim Cook. You're the latest to discover that selling your soul to Donald Trump will gain you nothing.
The FTC has sent a letter to Tim Cook because Apple News is too woke and needs to include more right wing content.

This would sound silly even for The Onion but it’s our current reality.

This episode has been a nightmare for my city and state, but I hope people realize it’s also a profound defeat and political catastrophe for Trump and DHS, who are slinking away having accomplished nothing. Minneapolis simply wouldn’t bend to them and they lost

🚨 Jared Moskowitz just turned the Bondi hearing into a masterclass in exposure. 🔥🔥

He used his 5 minutes to ask Bondi what opposition research she has on him — then pulled out a whiteboard and marker to grade her answers in real time.

Bondi didn’t answer.

Very interesting look into the DoJ Epstein file release.

See how videos were disguised as pdf's (presumably so they would show up as invalid/unreadable). Also, so many files are missing. And, he decodes other data e.g. email attachments.

Guessing it's 50% DoJ incompetence and 50% coverup.

Good.

But terrible for our country that the DOJ would even attempt to bring these charges.

Every “lawyer” who participated in this charade is an utter disgrace to the Bar and sullies his or her oath!! May they never live down their shame.

What an ugly assault on First Amendment and on Congress.

Thankfully, thwarted.

The new voter suppression bill—called the "Save America Act"—would require 21 million American citizens to produce passports or birth certificates to register to vote. Most don't have these documents. This is a poll tax by another name.

Very wild for journalists on here to just tell you there's nothing to see in Minnesota as they stake out organizers homes waiting for them to get arrested. The whole apparatus was like "yes this is terrible but we no longer want you to see it"

Epstein to Trump about a 14-year-old girl in 1994: “This is a good one, huh?” Trump agreed.

The FBI called this claim “sensational.” But a jury and prosecutors found the victim credible. Damning evidence that Trump knew Epstein targeted minors — and still partied with him.

VAN HOLLEN: What did everyone else have for lunch on Epstein Island?

LUTNICK: Everyone else ordered the pedophile salad.

VAN HOLLEN: And what did you order? I will remind you you are under oath.

LUTNICK: I ordered a normal salad. With green goddess dressing. But there was... a kitchen mistake.
VAN HOLLEN: Did you in fact make the visit to Epstein's private island?

LUTNICK: I did have lunch w/ him as I was on a boat going across on a family vacation. My wife was with me as were my 4 children and nannies. We had lunch on the island. That's true. For an hour. We left with all of my children
