The 2nd Doonesbury thread featured far more Jay "Wah-Wah" Graydon than anticipated so I'll cap it off there and usher in Dbury Thread 3.0 with the first appearance of Dan Asher, the embodiment of the hippie-to-yippie pipeline that is so fundamental to the Carter and early Reagan years.
The only thing worse than the amount of effort I just put into checking whether Epstein profitted off my high school friend group buying RCs off the Silk Roads is the haunting uncertainty I would've had wondering if the CSAM survivor in that group had funded Epstein while still a minor.

Now I'm remembering that time I planned on doing my 12th grade English research paper on Nabakov. There was an incredibly tense moment followed by my teacher talking abt authorial intent and unreliable narrators.
