It got so bad people were arranging romantic situations left and right trying to win the pot." "Really?" "Yes! These fuckers are ruthless. We can't tell them a thing." "So, what, in two weeks we just announce we're moving in together?" Stede asked. "That's it? No more information?" "Works for me, mate," Ed told him, resting his elbows on the table, his chin on his fists, looking Stede right in the eye. "No more information until you put a ring on my finger." Stede's face was so beautifully expressive. His eyes widened first, then his eyebrows went up, followed by a smile that somehow lifted his entire head with the corners of his mouth. Then everything settled into a crinkly-eyed grin. "Imagine that," he sighed. "Oh, I am."

There’s a detail I loved but it was in the French dub 🥲😅
In it Ed and Stede use the formal ‘you’ the whole time during S1 until Ed switches during the kiss scene in S1.
When he says ‘what makes me happy is *you*’ it’s the friendly one
And then Stede answers with ‘*you* make me happy too’
