i guess i naively assumed that since i'm not getting a phd the experience would be more similar to my master's. but apparently it's just as awful with the added bonus of working full time (or job hunting full time, as it were).

yep, totally different school. i did my masters from 2016-2018 at a different university, and i'm in my doctor of public health program at a school that, it turns out, is awful. been in the thick of it since 2021. but also, since it's a drph and not a phd we're all working full time during it.

well what's weird is i absolutely LOVED my master's program - the vast majority of my professors were great and the degree has been super useful.

this doctoral program, on the other hand - AWFUL
