Fear and denial are powerful emotions.

Most people have already had multiple infections and accepting the damage that’s been done is hard.

We’re also terrible at adaptation.

Too many folks think avoiding Covid means locking down forever.

They don’t realize the power of respirators & clean air!
40 years later… And the thing is, we already have mountains of data NOW that show what COVID does to brains. Why can’t we acknowledge it? Why can’t we face it? Why can’t we say it?

80 people have been killed and not a shred of evidence has been shown to explain why.

Congress has not approved these strikes.

They say it’s about drugs while pardoning actual drug dealers.

It’s not about drugs, it’s about oil. And power.

Although Africa contributes less than 4% of global greenhouse gas emissions, it suffers the worst consequences of climate change and still receives only around 2% of global renewable energy investments.

In 2025, African countries experienced escalating climate disasters and faced cuts to U.S. aid.

> permission from a parent or judge, and... what's this, did someone make a thread about how conservatives view CSA as a matter of property rights and thus permissible with the approval of the child's "owner"?

bsky.app/profile/riot...
when you understand that patriarchy views children as sexual property it all makes sense. there's no hypocrisy. exposure to queerness & transness threatens to "corrupt" the father's property, to "lead them astray" into self-determination, to taint their future sexual value. CSA is permissible as >
Thatcher's government did this with Section 28, banned the "promotion of homosexuality" as a danger to children, while actively protecting Jimmy Savile and who knows how many other pedophiles. It's the same damn playbook.
