the "worst of the worst" includes.. people who come out to help with car problems
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

tbh I do not care who you voted for. I care what you're doing NOW. You are allowed to change. Lots of money was spent on propaganda to make people think they wanted this. If you changed your mind upon seeing it in action, welcome. Unlearning is hard, but I'm cheering for you.

Apparently ICE has taken new vehicle deliveries at Whipple for the past three days. So I think we have to stay vigilant, but it’s equally plausible that ICE is so fucking incompetent that the people in charge never talked to the logistics folks who order the cars.

The problem with just advocating for ICE to leave Minnesota but not to dismantle it entirely is that they are capable of doing this again, any time, anywhere.

So it’s a race: how quickly can a person’s family realize they were snatched and find a lawyer, and how quickly can that lawyer get a habeas petition of file? And is that faster than ICE can load the detainee on a plane to Texas?

I am really grateful to have my next door neighbor on signal so I can quickly have another set of eyes outside my house
I have no idea if certain stories are known outside of Minnesota or outside of social media. I guess that Reuters piece does report on the arrests of observers AND of the intimidation tactics they use of going to the homes of observers or leading observers to their homes when they follow them.
