Can't keep funding this at all. If the government shuts down and people still see ICE on the streets doing this kind of shit, the midterm ads write themselves. Even for the scared centrists. No money for (insert affordability message) but money for terrorism! Kitchen table issue immediately.
here's a video from this afternoon in Eden Prairie MN of ICE agents camping out as a bus stop.

Again, this is terrorism.

Expanding gun ownership in response to ICE’s horrific violence is not a path toward safety or liberation, argues epidemiologist Rachel Hoopsick.

It is a path to more death, more political weakness, and deeper entrenchment of the very forces the Left opposes.

We still don't know the names of the ICE agents who killed Gonzàlez behind the wheel of his car outside Chicago in September.

They were unmasked in this BWC footage from Franklin Park police.

If you have any information at all about these men—please text us on Signal at unraveled.66

Immigration attorney Mary Giovagnoli on the cost of treating immigration as a war: since last year's LA enforcement escalation, immigration agents have opened fire 16 times. Four people dead, seven injured, people held at gunpoint at least 15 times. 🧵

A lot more people should know about the bravery Marimar Martinez displayed in the midst of Chicago’s occupation and the murder of two observers in MSP. They tried to kill her, shooting her 5 times, and it’s a miracle she’s alive to push for transparency like this after being persecuted by the DOJ.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.

MFers be doing this all the time. People who can’t be warm or cold for a few minutes are fucking pussies, and they should be ostracized.

The 2029 Pretti Good Act will establish a commission to identify all agents, create a detailed accounting of all acts, and hold criminally liable as necessary. Agents who voluntarily and truthfully disclose will be granted some leniency, provided their crimes did not include murder or torture.
When I say this agency [ICE and CBP] CAN’T be reformed this is why.

You see, what has to happen here is that Pretti’s family HAS to sue Miller for $100 million for defamation of their son’s character.

They’d win hands down, Miller would be bankrupted, and a serious message would be sent to all the other liars and criminals in this administration.

A big part of the story here is that women like Renee Good are braver and stronger than they could have ever imagined and that just doesn't fit with what MAGA men tell themselves about how gender works. It just does not compute.

Stephen Miller and Russ Vought are the two pure ideologues driving the agendas of white nationalism and destroying public services, respectively. They need to be the top political targets. Saying “Kristi Noem must resign” is a sideshow. Prosecute the whole cabinet later, sure, but please focus now.

MAGA military geniuses are talking about Minnesota protestors like they are the Iraqi insurgency, the Taliban, and the Viet Cong all rolled into one.

Corporate Democrats don’t want to abolish ICE because they helped make it what it is today and they focus on training because they want to retain a robust force but would rather they weren’t so openly fascistic

We’ve been in a good cop bad cop situation our entire lives and it’s past time to see it

The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.

We have been told for nearly 30 years that America needed to tolerate mass shootings because the broad availability of guns would help us defend ourselves from an overreaching federal government. That day has come. The people who said this are supporting the federal agents. Many have joined them.

The original video evidence 100% contradicts the narrative being pushed about officers being in danger. By the time officers could be aware of a weapon, Pretti had already been made defenseless by multiple officers and disarmed. He was shot unarmed.
Here's a cropped still showing the handgun in the federal officers hand immediately after he turns to quickly walk away. After pulling up the man's coat and retrieving the gun, the agent turns. 1.5 seconds BEFORE the first shot rings out.

It’s no comfort, but the official DHS line being “he can be killed by masked agents of the state because he had a legal gun” is such an interesting new frontier in how Trump has made the conservative movement very publicly and embarrassingly abandon every principal it once claimed.

Not only does ICE need to be abolished, but there should be publically aired tribunals for as long as it takes to hold every last one of these thugs accountable. No one, not even the people who file paperwork or handle payroll, should be immune from prosecution.
