I saw one of these in Chicago a few years ago, whilst getting a bus between terminals at O'Hare. And I was somewhat exited, as it’s something I’d never expect to see, I had a similar level of interest when seeing Ford Contours.

(For context it was my first and likely only time in the US)
really telling that none of the autonomous vehicle companies tried to work off of this thing:

Unfortunately, I did not get to talk to the owner of this NX2000 with a Pulsar GTI-R front end to find out how much else had been swapped over…

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't nirvana, pearl jam, soundgarden, or Alice In Chains.

I wrote much less this year than I've written in the past five, so there's not a whole lot to revisit. This piece, though, I still think is probably the best article I've ever written, even if it was a dumb professional move to write it [free to read] www.patreon.com/posts/empero...

Here’s something somewhat random, an episode of Top Gear from 1979 dedicated to testing off road vehicles on a tank course. The first car in the lineup is the green Subaru that’s in the thumbnail.

#carspotting from the grocery run this AM. I haven't seen the second-gen Touareg in a long time, so it was deffo a pleasant surprise. Same re the fairly well-kept Safari Storme 400. It was Tata's best effort with the car and it showed.

it's crazy to use AI in CONCEPT ART bcuz it will never be able to CREATE its own CONCEPTS. so not only are you saying you're too lazy to pay someone or to do the work yourself, you're also saying your okay with building all of your shit on unoriginal ideas and almagamation of existing work.

About an hour or so of Soulwax remixes, might require a vpn or whatnot to listen to outside of the UK.

Whilst folks in the US are saying goodbye to the ID.Buzz it’s still very much available in the UK. But it’s got a new rival in the form of the significantly cheaper Kia PV5 (pretty much half the price). This little vid is worth a look, more of an overview than an in depth review.

Can Kia’s new PV5 topple VW’s reborn icon?

More Autocar archive. Always liked this 2001 test of all the stuff you could get under £10k. Fairly diverse - city cars, superminis, MPVs, baby hot hatches, quite a spread of manufacturers.

Just went through price lists and lemme tell you, it's difficult to assemble that many cars today...

rewriting a more realistic script for The Lord of the Rings. Frodo just stays home and we watch thirteen hours of him cooking meals and reading books. every hour or so he glances at a newspaper and goes, "Oh shit what's happening in Rohan? That's fucked." Then he goes to the pub to drink with Sam.
