We've been down on the beach today picking up firework debris. It's odd, isn't it, that you can be fined £250 for dropping litter but somehow it's OK to launch rockets containing plastic casings into the sky.
I know it’s all about the engine but I’m more interested in the concept of a 22B wagon / Shooting Brake.
The choice of socks is a neat touch, such a cool 944.
I got the credit of “a reader” after sharing something cool with an editor that ended up being the basis of an article.
Wasn’t expecting this one, I‘ve seen some of that fella’s vids before and he’s certainly put a lot of work into that.
When I read cruise ship, I was picturing some vast and modern that has thousands of passengers. But in this instance the vessel in question has a guest capacity of up to 120, you’d think they’d be able to account for all passengers before departing.
I guess the chosen interpretation of counterintelligence is anti intelligence.
I quite like going for random late night and early morning walks, well until the last few years that is. Because in my immediate area the lights are off between about 1am & 5am, apparently it’s to reduce light pollution. It can be rather sketchy in some spots.
I used to play this at my local leisure centre, not sure why it was there. They also had Sega Touring Car Championship, the arcade cabinets were tucked away in a location most folks wouldn’t go to.
One interesting thing about how they operate in your area is that drivers have patrol routes, where it’s up to their discretion to grit the road, instead of just waiting for instruction to do so. I guess that’s being proactive and taking advantage of local knowledge.
Additionally, out of curiosity I looked up the council in question and they have a handy website with all sorts of relevant information. They get their forecasts from a company called MetDesk. www.ceredigion.gov.uk/resident/tra...

Winter Maintenance is an expensive part of any Highways contract, as quite often the folks driving the trucks are the same crews that do road maintenance during the day. And because of mandatory rest periods that means scheduling of repairs is impacted throughout the season. (Source: old job)
Local authorities use predicted road surface temperature to determine if the gritters will be deployed. The RST is often cooler than the air temp, they’ll have their own weather forecasts (usually via the Met Office and road sensors) to inform the decision.
This style suits you very much, there’s a natural confidence vibe emanating from these images.
I think they missed a trick by not going for a monoposto style, ditching the passenger seats and covering the cockpit in an effort to reduce drag.
I had the exact same thought when I saw this via a quoted post.
It’s retro but not in a cool way. I changed it back to the previous icon on my phone (by adding a shortcut and selecting the image). I have my apps colour coded and blue of the new one is too dark for me.

A before-and-after video instead of just an image, Rue Landouzy in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, in order to keep the full image ratio and show the whole of the young new tree in the foreground ;)
It’s van truck time, this Honda was rear ended so of course the logical thing to do was cut the back off and turn into the truck. In this instance, it’s been done so a mobility scooter could be loaded into the rear.

This guy is the Hank Hill of automotive YouTube.

The road markings and tactile paving should serve as a clue. Looks like some strategically placed bollards might deter this nonsense.
