ALMOST FORGOT

Get involved with your state and local Democrats.

Chuck Schumer might be a bitch but Linda the Safeway Cashier is not, and she is ORGANIZED.

I have found state and local Dems (MoCo, MD) to be the exact antidote to... lackluster... national Dems.

YMMV. But give it a try

None of these Democrats should enjoy a moment's peace.

Cortez Masto (NV)
Durbin (IL)
Fetterman (PA)
Gillibrand (NY)
Hassan (NH)
Peters (MI)
Schatz (HI)
Schumer (NY)
Shaheen (NH)

They've effectively just voted for Donald Trump's agenda without putting up a fight. Never let them hear the end of it.

Important point. This is worse than school vouchers for health care because at least school vouchers can be used on tuition. This is like if school vouchers could only be used on books and meals after you'd already paid the exorbinant tuition on your own. And of course neither are actually enough.
You CANNOT spend FSA money on health care premiums, and if you’re self-employed or unemployed you don’t even have a fucking FSA.
"A development that appeared to break the logjam: Republicans proposed that healthcare funding be provided directly to households rather than used to pay for a 1-year extension of ACA subsidies. That involves sending federal money into FSAs instead of insurance companies" www.wsj.com/politics/pol...
