For some I think it's pretty obvious people just don't like the idea rather than the word: "privilege" is a perfectly easy to understand ordinary language word whose activist meaning is just the same as the normal one, some kinda advantage. And there's, at least, no easy alternate for "patriarchy".
It would be a huge step forward for Democrats and for general clarity in political writing if these terms went away. These came mostly from academic hothouses.

Suppose I shouldn't be surprised that someone calling for abandoning the humanities would use "begs the question" like this.

This is 25 year old Parnia Abassi. She was an English teacher and a poet. She was killed alongside her younger brother and parents in Israel's attacks on residential areas in Iran last night.

So ADUs under 900 sqft are now legal in Mass

The interior ADUs are funny to me because we’ve essentially legalized two-family homes as long as one unit is small enough

Next we should just legalize two-family homes outright

Late last night, with about 15 minutes notice to the Union, the NLRB’s HR sent an email adopting the terms of the forked-up resignation scam. HR also provided us a contract that appears to be drafted by AI or LegalZoom. As labor lawyers, we’re happy to go over this in detail. 🧵

This is ... pretty good, actually.
Took some effort but I got Deepseek to produce a pretty good accessible explanation for why indifference curves and the general equilibrium models built atop them are so fundamentally bankrupt.

no longer a democracy in america's 10th largest state. governed instead by a permanent GOP majority, locked into power by rigged maps. Might be the whole country soon. Stealing our country from us.
The 5–2 conservative supermajority on the North Carolina Supreme Court is almost assuredly not going to block any of these new laws.

Democrats have a chance to flip the NC Supreme Court if they win judicial races in 2026 and 2028. That's the only plausible path around this power-grab.

Turns out, your full proposal does not affect your ranking much! Whaat? 😯
