Honest to fuck, the mobility scheme change is very revealing of the fucking Workhouse mentality some people have. How dare disabled people have spare money to put towards having a slightly nicer car. It won't save any money and I'd lay odds on having to make changes to the scheme costing money.

Removing adjustments for children and denying very real diagnoses endangers children and causes unnecessary suffering.
These people just don't like the fact that people are visibly different and would prefer if they were shut away and not spoken of.

This armistice I'll be thinking of Matthias Erzberger, the German signatory who worked to bring about the end of WWI.
He was a national hero, bringing about and end to so much death and destruction, yet he was assassinated in 1921 for it. The Nazis considered him a traitor to the German people.
