He/him. Pretty queer. Writer when I can actually focus, drone pilot, media enthusiast. Doctor Who stuff happens against my better judgement.
I never was able to get invested in Stranger Things but seeing words like "Vecna" thrown around social media is giving my Doctor Who nerd heart flashbacks to the dark days of "Tzim-Sha", "Ux", and "Ranskoor Av Kolos".

I feel like one of the most underrated explanations for what's happening right now in global politics is that almost everyone has lost their minds.

There's something really lovely about how it's obvious Michelle Yeoh was horribly miscast in Wicked but everyone's reacting like "oh bless her we still love her anyway" instead of with typical internet hate. Like the "MM turn it around" thing becoming a meme is just so endearing.

Polyamory Day and Doctor Who Day are both November 23.

Extremely important holiday for me.

Marjorie Taylor Greene managed to tolerate being subjected to the sort of abuse, that she has subjected trans people to for years, for approximately one week.

I know it's a problem in the stage show too but casting Jonathan Bailey and Cynthia Erivo sure doesn't help Wicked's problem of Glinda/Elphaba's love for each other being a lot more believable than Fiyero with either of them

Mainstream news covered the Jeffrey Epstein emails related to ppl like Trump. Today, I want to take a look at Epstein's correspondence with prominent atheist and physicist Lawrence Krauss, who asked the pedophile's advice on responding to accusations of sexual assault skepchick.org/2025/11/so-i...

Unsurprised but disappointed to see Wicked 2 reviews highlight the same problems the first one had. Awkward pacing. Poor lighting and color grade choices. Weak, distracting, unnecessary CG action sequences.

Sigh.

one thing about this is that in the wake of all of this kirk is basically forgotten. he was barely cold in the ground before his allies — before his *wife* — started scheming over what they could take for themselves. a real life parable.
New: Reuters has tallied job losses, suspensions and investigations stemming from the reaction to Charlie Kirk's Sept. 10 assassination. Its findings: More than 600 Americans have been punished, and the figure is likely to be an under-count.

It’s opportunists fleeing a sinking ship.

Don’t try to reach for any sort of grand feminist interpretation of these events.

These are all women who repeatedly voted to strip less powerful women of their rights and bodily autonomy.

They are not, and will never be, my allies or yours.
I'd be really curious if someone better versed in feminist theory wrote about what's happening on the right. Because between Greene, Mace, and Bobert, we've got this bloc forming of women who seem tired of serving a patriarchy of sex criminals. And their rhetoric is starting to lean that direction.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I was called a traitor by a man that I fought for 6 years for. I gave him my loyalty for free. I've never owed him anything. Let me tell you what a traitor is -- a traitor is an American that serves foreign countries."
