The worst part about the tech industry is that I know these fuckers all read the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, because they won’t shut up about it, but they still built the computer that you feed all the knowledge in the known universe and it outputs nonsense.

It’s almost like it’s not possible to create a product that is both convincing substitute friend and lover, AND a useful product for corporate environments that delivers accurate results every time lol
Not wanting to disappoint you so much that it lies is the last quality I want in a computer.

This is 100% a sexual kink.

Transphobes are FUCKIN WEIRD.

At all opportunities they should be reminded that their obsession is CREEPY AND WEIRD and incredibly offputting to normal people.

This afternoon, I informed the Prime Minister of my decision to resign as Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture, Minister responsible for Official Languages, Minister of Nature and Parks Canada, as well as his Lieutenant in Quebec.

Today I was served a 2:57 second long unskippable ad for *a men’s hoodie* that is just footage of the same model zipping up his sweater over and over and over, we’ve reinvented infomercials from first principles, what is happening…

I have always had the sense that the reason David Bowie kept reinventing himself as an artist, is because he couldn’t stop himself from changing. That he was the constant state of change itself.

By contrast, I think Taylor Swift holds a quarterly all-hands meeting to workshop her next era.

This is fetish shit, and the reason it’s sad is because he doesn’t possess any self-awareness.

“Could a depressed person make this?”

Yeah, yeah Graham. They absolutely could.

the wildest thing is that this weird confession, which wild horses couldn't drag out of most people, was shared completely unsolicited with a journo doing a glinner puff piece, not tricked out of him by chotiner or something

Also notable that Carney's first big deal is with a provincial leader with a nearly infinite supply of incompetence, mendacity and cruelty. And he gave her literally everything she wanted, with nothing to show for it except for pissed off premiers in provinces where he actually gets votes. 5D chess

It is almost impossible to ignore the fact that our civil leaders have no regard for human life, that their sole aim is to maximize corporate profits at our expense.

There is no floor. There is nothing they won’t take. We are disposable serfs, can you not see that? The working class is on its own.

I'm not interested in "I told you so."

A lot of people voted Liberal because they were terrified of Poilievre and his gang. I get that.

But Carney's who we got, he's being a weak leader, pushing policies that are harming the vast majority of us and it's time to just admit he sucks and push back.

1/ Mark Carney has betrayed all of us by making a pipeline pact with Danielle Smith. A real nation-building project would expand the renewable energy of the future while creating thousands of jobs - powerlines not pipelines.

It is so fucking ugly that every time something happens, these two parties—that jointly decided to spend the better part of the last 20 years dropping bombs on the Afghan people as collective punishment—exploit it as an opportunity to point fingers like pissy little babies.

The thing about the "disastrous" Afghanistan withdrawal is that the timeline of withdrawal was directly negotiated by Trump, who, because he was actively attempting a coup of the US government in the aftermath of the election, refused to share any intelligence briefings with the incoming president.

I seem to recall that one of the GOP's main criticisms of Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal was that he betrayed the Afghan allies and didn't allow enough of them to come to the US. They shouldn't be allowed to forget that.

And I just think it’s going to be so fucking funny when the “Millennials killed Starbucks” thinkpieces start winding up.
