The "Larry Summers complained to Jeffrey Epstein that MeToo went too far" and "Olivia Nuzzi committed crimes on behalf of the fascist she masturbated with while reporting on him" are the same story: American elites have no ideology other than "I should be untouchable." Society is run by empty husks

Now “won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation” feels like it should be from a screenshot of a tumblr conversation about turtles, but nope, it’s the Pope
Pope Leo XIV told students not to use artificial intelligence for homework, saying that AI ‘won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation.’

IIRC this was a reactionary centrist pundit hobbyhorse about DC for like 3 minutes until they got distracted by some other culture war bullshit, incredible that Labour is still desperately trying to win Noah Smith’s approval

just to be clear i think it's perfectly plausible but not extremely likely that Jeffrey Epstein personally paid off Kavanaugh's absurd debts, but i also think that he should be required to prove it was not, in fact, Jeffrey Epstein, who advised Steve Bannon on his confirmation hearing
wild guess based on being proximate in time. i support forcing kavanaugh to disprove it.

That the only three prior winners Dr Pepper could find for their commercial are 2 guys from 2023 and a woman from 2010 is genuinely concerning. What happened to the other people?

Not one from 2011-2022 is doing alright?

Biden’s DOJ just let Gaetz get away with with this for as far as I can no reason even after they gave his co-D a plea deal to cooperate. Kind of an odd move imo
