My thing w him is that his jokes were really great at the time but it’s hard to go back and enjoy them because most of them are about how he has zero impulse control and it’s like… oh the signs were there
Don't tell me that Louis CK was never funny.

Louis CK was absolutely funny before his controversy and it's remarkable that after being backed into a corner, he went all in on unfunny racist and transphobic jokes.

It's FASCINATING how he stopped being funny overnight.

Reminder that car culture is unfortunately very very linked in fundamental ways to regressive tendencies. Ford and Hitler were both obsessed with cars for pretty much the same reason, and inspirations to each other.
The sheer population density of NY makes the thuggery harder to pull off. Much more difficult to be a scumbag when there are ~2 million people in each direction at minimum
ICE still FROZEN at Centre St & Howard in lower Manhattan right now as calls continue circulating for people to join.

"How many of yall like sex?"
JD Vance: "How many of you really like turkey?"

Many soldiers raise their hands.

Vance: "You're all full of shit."

bro i talked back to a customer today what is wrong with these journalists? maybe they are
stupid
I long for the day when Trump ask a journalist “Are You Stupid?” And the journalist actually shouts back: “No! I’m not stupid but you clearly are being evasive and can’t admit failure! You’re doing a terrible job! Just answer the Fucking Question!”

The use of this word in the year 2025 is a gigantic red flag
I really think that even most people who think language policing was a huge problem over the past 5-10 years have no patience for the disgusting little freaks who have tried to bring back "retarded" as a slur. It's just so low-rent and such a tell that the person using it is not worth your time

Michael Bohacek, a Republican state senator from Indiana who has a daughter with down syndrome, says he will vote against redistricting in Indiana after Trump used the word "retarded."

The reason we got and cannot get rid of Trump is that America is a business and he is a cash cow for way way way too many people including his ostensible opponents. He’s the Beatles of news, and that is an indicator that the news itself is broken.

If a "democracy" has a participation of rate of 50% or less we should consider that the problem lies in the system.

(Ironically, liberals also distrust countries which have near 100-percent voting rates, assuming they must be coerced. As they coerce nonvoters rather than address their needs)
Will someone please ask the 89 million Americans who didn't vote in the last election if they are being affected by anything this administration is doing to the other Americans?
