Writers who use genAI for illustrations are class traitors. We all have to fight this beast TOGETHER. We are not just trying to save SOME of our livelihoods.
Self-published authors are unfortunately very rapidly becoming my most-blocked demographic on here due entirely to the rampant use of hideous AI generated book covers

Kind of crazy to be nearing my 4th year drawing a script for an Oz comic I spent a couple of months writing the script for and to see someone churn out an AI slop Oz comic and make $100k on Kickstarter for it!
Okay yeah, This feels like a mix of AI Slop, Trace Photo Ref, and Actual (mostly rushed) Art, all made to hide the duct tape and glue.
Im kinda mad I backed the Kickstarter, checking that now they REALLLLLLY hid this.
AWA Studios really pocketed 100K in Kickstarter Money and ran with this.

Once on Twitter, I jokingly called Puzzle Fighter "Cal Arts style" to make fun of people who call all cute cartoony art "Cal Arts Style" and a bunch of people dunked on me because they thought I was 100% serious and they all thought I had somehow never heard of Puzzle Fighter.

KOSA passed out of the subcommittee in the House on 13-10 vote. Meaning that they are FINALLY listening to some opposition. But not enough to prevent the other age verification bills from passing, let alone this.
