here’s a morning update ❤️🔥 we’ve raised $1,162 for this 6th worker & their family that we are working with.
we are hoping to raise $1,400 for them — just as we all came together to do for 5 families earlier this week!

Hi! We're raising mutual aid funds for vulnerable Twin Cities restaurant/service workers & their families.
Currently, we are directly working with 6 Latino families to provide funds for rent, groceries, missed wages, etc.

Minneapolis public schools are closed, but St Paul are open, & I'm sure many others across the Metro are open. I'm sure staffing is heavily impacted a long way out. If you have time to be with your family, this is the time to call out or consider alternatives.
A lot of educators in the twin cities are not going in today, and subs are few and far between. I feel like parents should know this before sending their kids to school today.

It's very clear from the commentary exploding on the timeline right now that hardly anyone outside Chicago knows ICE shot and killed a man in his car here in the fall.
