Let me be clear:
I have ZERO patience for nihilism about our current affairs.
ZERO.
I WILL call you out for that sort of attitude and I will lay down the fire on your ass.
You’re free to think it. I’m free to call it out.
Deal with it.

Every accusation is a confession with these people. There is still no evidence of cognitive impairment in Biden and credible evidence that Trump has had a stroke and has been administered a dementia test multiple times.

A lot of Trump’s gambit relies on the people he wants to bully surrendering without a fight.
It gets much harder to flex his power when he’s told no.
And all the more infuriating when people & institutions know this and STILL capitulate to him
I recognize this is bad, but it is also notable just how limited this is for an institution as large and formidable as the US bureaucracy.

A properly cowed and controlled and expanded state could target 500+ a day.
Reuters reached out to everyone that Trump or his subordinates singled out publicly for retribution, and reviewed hundreds of official orders, directives and public records. The result: the most comprehensive accounting yet of his campaign of payback.

I think often of the time a bunch of murder victims’ families showed Trump treasured photos of their loved ones and he signed them
Q: Do you plan to attend Sarah's funeral?

TRUMP: I haven't thought about it yet, but it's certainly something I can conceive of. I love West Virginia. You know, I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere.

If this episode of #FionnaandCake didn't spell it out but other bits of Adventure Time media have shown that Finn has a death wish as he wants to be with Jake in the afterlife. That colors everything else.
Fionna and Cake S2 spoilers

It’s interesting characterization that HW seems to lament Finn’s more reckless attitude towards his own life, especially given that HW has also been very reckless this season in the lengths she’s going to save Finn. I wonder where they’re going with their relationship

“I have heard that they are planning to ‘update it’ and shudder to think what that will mean,” Demetre Daskalakis, a former member of CDC leadership, told NOTUS.

I think it'd be pretty cool if the Blue Jays did vaguely what the Dodgers did last year and say "well, we made a ton of money getting to the WS so now it's time to go after it."

Clubs that spend deserve to win, imho.

My mom told her physical therapist she wears a mask because her husband and daughter are immunocompromised. The PT said she is too but isn't worried bc she knows if she dies she is going to heaven. Then her co-worker yelled, “Shut up Debbie you wear a seatbelt and take blood pressure meds” 👀

You're not going to impeach this president unless you elect a shit ton more Democrats. And bitching about Democrats everyday on social media and with every breath you take isn't going to get you what you want. Also if they tried repeatedly, like they have, and you're still suggesting it shut up.

Okay, this worked on paper, in the abstract and so on and so forth because like so much Trumpworld shit the actual making of the project is beset by things like Jackie Chan is in his 70s and this is an action film.
It’s been obvious we’re in the dumbest timeline for a while, but we’re going to next level. The President of the United States has expended time and energy to get a new instalment of his favourite nineties film franchise, Rush Hour, a buddy cop series with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. It worked.
‘Rush Hour 4’ revived after Trump urged Paramount Skydance to resurrect franchise, reports say
Studios initially declined a fourth movie over concerns around director Brett Ratner, whose career crashed after sexual misconduct allegations he denies.
