When you don't even have the energy to read the article because honestly WTF are we doing thinking we are an actual country but having this effing cartoon be the face we show the world

It's impossible to overstate how much we'd all hate America if we weren't Americans

Dear Media: people who vote for Donald Trump, especially after Jan 6, do not actually care about “following our nation’s laws.”

They’re just authoritarians.
Laws are to be used on the people they don’t like. History backs this up pretty hard.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

Trump is an unstable narcissist with a bottomless appetite for attention and a defective moral core. Here’s why I voted for him anyway.

Dear all journalists -

Just because the president has long believed [X] or has always wanted to [Y], that doesn’t make it, y’know, a thing. Or legal.

Thanks.

New in PN: American embarrassment. Global pariah.

"Donald Trump sounded like a fascist dictator suffering from a brain bleed during his speech yesterday at Davos. It was a national embarrassment even by the lowly standards of modern American politics."
American embarrassment. Global pariah.
Trump's Davos debacle marked a new low.

Trump justified his illegal war in Venezuela by saying that Venezuela was not producing enough oil.

Venezuela was not producing enough oil because of sanctions and blockades Trump orchestrated.

JFC—paging Orwell.

We are so lost as a nation, as a people. We live under a madman.

Trump calling his boss to get his marching orders before his meeting with Zelensky. This is standard operating procedure for Trump. Fuck Putin. Fuck Trump. Say a few prayers for or have some positive thoughts for Zelensky. He’s gonna need them.

We caught up with one of the kids who sang on 'A Charlie Brown Christmas.' He's 72 now

In this Ohio diner, 60 Minutes still means the amount of supervised visitation you get with your kids until you can pass a drug test. But they do know this: no news report can be trusted unless it includes Stephen Miller's side of the story.
