May I say something controversial. I miss when Meg always had her ass out and always let her tiddies show 😔

Nope. They’ll cave and call people purity testers …again
If the Dems don't come out unilaterally for abolishing ICE by the time there is a midterm (if there is one), which guarantees they will lose seats, not gain them, will people be saying it's the voters that failed the politicians like they always do or will they finally see it's the other way around?
Yeah these "real reforms" Dem are asking for would essentially restore DHS and ICE to the previous status quo, which was also extremely bad!

I think I speak for ALL of us when I say we are tired of Ryan Reynolds. Truly the (less talented) Nicolas Cage of our time.
Ryan Reynolds is reportedly currently focused on developing a new ‘Deadpool’ movie

While I'm glad that the US is rallying in response to the murder of Alex Pretti, I know that his identities intersect in such a way to make this happen. White supremacy finds the murder of a "good" white man shocking, and if it took you this long to "wake up", then know that you've been part of it.

it's not weird to ask people to give recompense and acknowledge previous harms. it's what we ask a five year old child to do.
We need everyone we can get in this fight against a fascist takeover.

If your first instinct to someone being politically mobilized by all this is to give them a sneering "well, what took you so long?" you don't actually care about our winning this; you just want to be able to say you were right.

"Let" is kind of an odd word choice considering that there's no real way to prevent people from following in the first place and no real way to remove them once they do, and I also find treating human being as channels for passive media consumption to be... generally unwise, for safety's sake. Imo.
Short answer is not really
Long answer is that most folks (myself included) think of followers as people you've let have access to you (explicitly with approvals or implicitly with public settings)

The network views them more like YouTube subscribers. You can't unsubscribe someone from your channel
can we get follower approvals thru blacksky then since we can't get the power to remove followers????

It's a pretty simple idea. I'm not complaining that people in positions of power and influence are "just catching up," I'm complaining that they're not stepping down from their positions of power and influence now that they have. They lack the tools to do the job. Why are they still trying to do it?
Bluesky idea: if people who didn't agree with you change their opinions so that they do agree with you, why not be happy that you are making progress - rather than complaining that they are "only just catching up"?

it's worse than that. they want to believe that it's only correct *now* and that we were all incorrect *then*. they are the ones not giving credit, not us.

for real, welcome to reality finally, but if you're here because you think only *now* it's fascism, you can't expect us to trust your judgment.
If you were to turn in a paper 10–20 years late, vs. a class of peers who did so on time while reminding you in the interim that the paper was due, would you demand full credit, or accept that you get only partial?

What if you had been telling them the whole time that the paper was no big deal? The grade wasn't worth that much, it wasn't an important paper. That they were fools for doing the paper, and in any case, they were so annoying about it that you didn't want to listen. What reaction would you expect?
