They want to rehabilitate sex creeps and criminals because of some combination of the following: a) they've got something in their own past they don't want to have bring them down, b) they want the creep prerogatives that used to come with the gig, c) they're just plain sexist motherfuckers
I'm flummoxed by the underground movement to rehab cancelled figures. There's a rumor that a studio head is planning to begin bringing cancelled people back. It's bananas. The industry has contracted, leaving writers, directors and actors scrambling for work and we're making space for sex criminals?

It’s clear that the primary interest of the US in “peace negotiations” is to create opportunities for Trump, Witkoff, their family members, business partners and cronies to make billions from business deals with Russia, and Ukraine is just the annoying nuisance in the way.

Staggering to think of how easily Manchin could've prevented this!
I remember Joe Manchin being absolutely effusive that the Inflation Reduction Act would bring millions of dollars to create jobs for renewable energy in West Virginia.... now Trump is killing these opportunities.

The nerve block is wearing off so my foot is no longer numb. As my foot returns to life, I’m becoming increasingly aware of unevenness and edges under the sole of my foot, like from the mummy wrap. It’s driving me crazy. Like really crazy.

What can I do to not go crazy.

Hi! We're a small business & we'd love to get a sale today.
1st time since we set up in 2015 that we've had no traffic on #SmallBusinessSaturday

It's so hard, we know everyone is spread thin. Us too.

But if you like vintage / gothy stuff, everything below is still available, thanks for your time:
Adding to this thread of nifty things that additional brand-new Gothy / Batty / Catty / Vintage goodies are now available via Torch & Arrow, all one of a kind & part of Etsy's big cyber sale! Your support is *such* a help in a difficult year. 🖤

The White House’s new anti-media website includes denunciations of:

-ABC, which bribed the president
-CBS, which bribed the president and moved away from fact-based journalism trying to appeal to him and his fans
-WaPo, which spiked a Harris endorsement and tilts coverage in Trump’s favor

Fools.

The Times adjusted it's headlines, but not until after other media started reporting the links as factual using the Times.

How comfortable should editors be with headlines that amplify the claims of an unverified claim, not subject to peer review, by a known vaccine skeptic?

The president is about to start a war for no real reason. All of the things he has blamed on the country he’s targeting — fentanyl distribution, “emptying the asylums” and sending patients to the U.S., alignment with Tren de Aragua— are provably, obviously false.

Lots of people are going to die.

Don't let it slip by anyone that both the Senate and House Armed Services Committees - GOP & DEM - refer to the Pentagon using the correct name of Department of DEFENSE not War.

Proper and lawful direct thumb in the eye to the Trump Administration.
Now Senate Armed Services Committee and House Armed Services Committee - vow "vigorous oversight" and "full accounting" of Secretary Hegseth's alleged "kill them all" order and double-strike operation.

Rare joint statements by GOP Chairman and Ranking Member on both committees
