but like i avoid the outside when i can help it so i'm not that miffed
shared *confined* space then. if i can't satisfy my frustration by just getting up and walking away, the other person is being a jerk
i think it's fine on a personal vehicle and monstrous in a shared space you're occupying for 5+ minutes
i saw a guy bring a bluetooth speaker the size of his forearm onto the subway once and immediately realized "oh, the tech industry put a boombox in everyone's pocket"

It’s wild how many old webcomics have straight up disappeared from the internet.
i can't really disagree without getting deep into semantic weeds about how i'm defining "bullying"
i think a not-insignificant portion of social media users, even and especially ones with positions i agree with, would be happier people if they just admitted they don't want to improve society, they just want to mock people
the most likely outcome of beating on a bad take is that the person who has it sees themselves as oppressed and triples the fuck down. and yet everyone on social media seems to genuinely think it's a successful teaching tool or at least a successful deterrent
the idea that bullying cannot change hearts and minds seems increasingly niche. it can get a politician to bend on an issue, because it directly impacts their livelihood, and that's great! but it's not gonna convince a stranger on social media to ditch 'harry potter' or whatever
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

my hot take is that a work of fiction only passes the bechdel test if it contains (1) ten or more lesbians, (2) who talk to each other, (3) about the existential panic caused by our tumultuous political climate. names optional
Of course women don't like the Cybertruck.

Women only want one thing, and it's giant robots.
