Always feels weird when I successfully find Pokemon cards at the machines at the supermarket because I'm always worried that some very sweaty guy is gonna come attack me. I hope we can reclaim this hobby back.

If you don't have the time/means to play a game, consider watching longplays. They're a great middle ground in this debate.
"you have not played the game unless you've played the game" is one of my more annoying but unshakable opinions
the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

If Galuf is equipped with the Bone Mail during his story battle with ExDeath you can use a Phoenix Down to kill Galuf instead. The story will continue as normal.

After "film trilogy that dropped a critical plot point exclusively via timed Fortnite event" and "video game series whose story only makes sense if you're aware of the events of a canon pachinko machine", I feel like there are whole frontiers of user-hostile narrative design waiting to be explored.

Big Streaming these days kind of just inherently requires building a cult of personality around yourself and if you have the right mindset to do such a thing you probably also believe you can get away with anything. I feel like that's why this keeps happening.
