I think if we come back it should definitely be for longer. Ten days was the best we could manage this time and we barely scratched the surface, but I dont regret it. Great experience.

Flying home today. Japan trip thoughts and highlights:

- Shibuya was super fun.
- Dragon Quest cafe was amazing. The rest of Akihabara was alright.
- Wish we did more temples (only did two).
- Thought we packed light. Still wasnt light enough (leave your Switches, laptops at home, folks)

Sometimes I ever wonder if I can post about these things as a hobbyist. I feel like so much of this creator discourse is aimed at and assumes you are a career artist, dev, etc.

LRT: I'm always thankful that I have at least a small audience. I try not to take it for granted.

But creators who struggle with upward momentum arent always smiling. We want to be able to share these stories with lots of people and there are days when we ask "when will I have my chance to shine?"

I don’t think ppl understand the whole “who cares if nobody likes it! make content for yourself” is extremely dismissive
Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time
