I thought I'd do a little art vs artist with some of my favourite models I've painted this year.

There are a lot of wings there, lots of Thousand Sons, a couple of conversions, and the first two busts I've ever painted. If there's one thing it's been a good year for, it's painting models. 🙂

Me, surrounded by some of the many models I've painted this year. Beholder chaos spawn, Astorath, owl wizard, Jaheira bust, me, 30k Ahriman chatting to a skull headed raven, as you do, a deep sea fangly genestealer, a daemon prince that looks suspiciously like a little female Magnus, Halsin, best boy of BG3, also chatting to a bird, it's very popular apparently, an old metal Ahriman, because you have to pay respects to your elders, my beefy elephant boy, and a partridge in a pear tree. I mean Night Lord with a bloody knife.

My tactic has always been worry all night so I can't sleep, drop them off at the vets and then collapse by the phone and sleep until they ring me. 😅

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Especially for my first mural! I didn't go crazy crazy because it will be in low light, and also I'm being paid a basic rate. But standing next to it is actually a little creepy, so mission success I think. 😁👽

My partner owned and ran a couple of gaming shops. He says the best way to get a small fortune is to start with a large fortune and open a gaming shop. 😬

entirely honest with how they present their side of it.

I'm a huge fan of 3d printing. I love that I can get some interesting models, support small creators, and modify models I have (and that's just for wargaming). I don't like that it gets a bad rep from stuff like this.

It really is a headache.
But I think you've laid it out really well. Companies can be far too heavy handed, but individuals are often cheeky with the liberties they take and companies have every right to protect their IP, but what's too far?

And like you said, I do think this person isn't being
