Spent the past four days capturing photos of some of the best U15 hockey players in Western Canada and the US at the John Reid Memorial Tournament in St. Albert, AB, Canada. Now the tough part, editing thousands of photos! #sportsphotography #hockey

I'm going to give this Great Horned Owl the benefit of the doubt and say that he was sitting on a muskrat in an effort to keep it warm. I'm probably being a bit more generous than he deserves. #wildlife #birds #owls

Here is my most favourite photo of 2025. I’ve come to describe my images as capturing the moments between the moments. This image a pause in play, a small paw reaching up, tiny claws extended is absolute trust.
I find these moments tell the story best.

I think the way for artists to combat ai slop in 2026 is to lean hard into showing process & WIP. No ai user is going to generate days or weeks of work in progress images & post them because they want to entirely slip the work part.

Embrace the process & let everyone see it.

Yes I got the iconic bear on top of the falls when I visited Brooks Falls this summer but I also got this one. Below the falls a male had just devoured a salmon and had sat up and yawned, it looks like he’s yelling at the salmon
