A re-introduction to my new followers. I'm Tim, a photographer in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. You'll mostly find me posting wildlife shots here. But be warned, I may also sprinkle in some sports (Go #oilers) and the occasional political post. Look forward to connecting!

Woke up early so decided to take an impromptu trip to Elk Island National Park. Saw a number of bison along the roads and had a nice encounter with this coyote who was kind enough not to immediately run away. #wildlife #coyote
A coyote standing in the grass with fall colours in the background. A coyote standing on the edge of a paved road. A coyote pausing to look at the strange guy in the Jeep passing by.

I have so many pictures of these owls on this post. So hard to choose my favorite one.

A great horned owl perches at dusk before hunting in Longmont, Colorado.

Working on a 2026 Wildlife Calendar and am having trouble choosing between these two photos. Thoughts? #wildlife

Ran into this young muskrat out enjoying an evening snack at the local wetlands yesterday. #wildlife #muskrat
A muskrat sits in the shallow water, chewing on a green reed. Have a great day!

These beauties will soon be heading off for their winter slumber. Hope to see a few more before the year is over. #wildlife #bears
A large Grizzly bear walking through some dried out grass. Evergreen trees are seen in the background. Also, hope you have a wonderful day!

This past weekend I had the chance to capture a few photos of the Transcanada Highwaymen ft. @stevenpage.bsky.social (BNL), Chris Murphy (Sloan), Craig Northey (Odds) and Moe Berg (@tpohband.bsky.social) at the Edmonton Gives fundraiser. Their set was "The Ultimate 90s Mix Tape!" #yeg
A black and white photo of Steven Page performing. Craig Northey of Odds singing and playing bass guitar. Chris Murphy of Sloan, laying down in the front row of seats while performing a song. Chris Murphy, Craig Northey, and Moe Berg on stage getting ready to perform a song.

I went with "Ooh, we're in Phase 9!" Only got busted when asked what that meant. 😂

I’m leaning to the same. A nice excuse for a trip to the mountains.

The most ridiculous thing is that those of us who want a vaccine are quite possibly not going to be able to get one.

Congratulations! Glad you have found such happiness.

Nope, one thing I will never do is feed wild animals. This fellow seemed to be doing just fine on his own. 🙂
