Here are my 4 entries for the November round of #FSPrintMonday. We've had some lovely early-morning lighting over the last month, so the shots here reflect that. See alt-text for more info.

'The Quiet Cottage'

A classic image made in #Connemara, back in 2020. One of those shoots that just stays with you. I’ve since photographed this location a few times since, but never as successfully as I did on my first visit.

'Individual'

An image made very close to home home in 2021, during lockdown. This tree stood out like a thing of beauty whilst making images in a dark and moody afternoon in the foggy woodland.

The gnarled oaks of this #ancient #woodland in Dartmoor are absolutely spectacular. It’s one of the few last remaining temparate #rainforests in Britain.

The delicacy of the #ecosystem is obvious having visited, with the vast array of mosses, lichens, ferns and more all living in harmony.

On an early summer morning, beautiful puffy clouds reflect in the calm waters of Vermillion Lakes in the Canadian Rockies, while the distant mountains catch the first rays of the sun.

Methods of distraction include wigging out over the hidden details of nature. Proven effective time and again!

Unrelated pro tip: There's only one way to host Thanksgiving, and that is to do as much as possible in advance.

Hey everyone! Spent the past week exploring some really cool desert areas in UAE. Thought I’d share a lil bit of it here ✌️

It’s not for a tour, just solo exploring and also meeting some friends who live in the Emirates.

A reminder that all too often we live our lives ignorant of the beauty that surrounds us, Springbok antelopes in Namibia trundle unawares through a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors, set against distant mountains receding into the shade.
