St James's Royal Park in London is probably the only place where you will find pelicans promenading together with people. For now, a heron diving for fish creating many #droplets with his #wings

A heron sat studiously on the bank of a water garden in Hyde Park. Gradually, he leaned forward and dived into the water. This image was captured at the moment of impact. The extensive water spray created, showered over the heron.

Thank you, Alan. The pelican also eat pigeons. As for herons, as long as flesh is available, they will eat it. Fish, goslings, cygnets frogs, voles absolutely anything. Watched one caught a dragon fly for a snack at the weekend. Much appreciated.
