Had an insight this weekend - holy shit, the horrors and simple lack of practice have me out of the habit of actually sharing myself on here and social media in general. I've been keeping my feelings, my work, my joy to myself. It's been lonely, and it's a prison of my own making.

Yeah, your favorite writer/actor/musician/etc isn't inherently a better human than any of their fans and we have some (unfortunately) recent evidence that they can be generally worse. We're not amazing creatures of light or any of that nonsense. We're just usually decently good at our jobs.
In my experience, any creative who expects you to act as if you're talking to one of your betters is a creative you can kick to the curb.

Thankfully, you can turn this off. It's in the "Accessibility" settings panel, this setting labeled "Display Name Styles". Turn it off to return to the default font.

i am so tired of everyone saying "it looks like AI" at every piece of bad art. not only are you insulting the artist, you are making it really, painfully obvious you have no idea what AI art looks like or how to actually recognize it, and now every real artist has to live in fear of people like you.
