noteworthy that rather than funding experiments into challenging conservative message domination on the local level or building between-election outreach capacity at the state level, centrist donors are throwing millions at what amount to online factional battles among a couple dozen people
it is mostly driven by this guy who represents large dollar donors.

The University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education has won $1 million to train teachers and administrators in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware on how to best integrate artificial intelligence into their schools.
More AI training is coming for Pa. N.J. and Del. schools, thanks to a $1M grant Penn got from Google
Penn is already piloting a "Pioneering AI in School Systems" program in Philadelphia. Five more school systems across the region will be chosen to get the program for free.

There is not a single day that goes by that i don't think about the vast majority of Americans reading below a sixth grade level
I’ve been thinking a lot about a new kind of polling I’d like to see. We have polling that measures public opinion, which is obviously important, but I’d love to see a little more empirical work on public knowledge: what do voters know about politics and policy?

Can you even imagine being an Olympic athlete right now, knowing your whole fucking athletic career might end in a moment with a gestapo agent savagely beating you while you're in the US
"According to his running club, the man, who is a U.S. citizen, was returning from a team run when agents pulled him out of his vehicle, tackled him to the ground and kneeled on top of him, allegedly breaking six ribs and causing internal bleeding"

Unfortunately, before we get to that point we’ll have a session of incredulous hand wringing from the press after Trump does something so truly monstrous, they can’t both sides it.

I've often said that in a political choice where one has to be perfect VS being human (mistakes, past transgressions) most people will choose being human and bristle at the idea you must be perfect. It's why the left loses. But on the substance, Platner passes the smell test.
